How a YouTuber Went from 600 Subscribers to 57,000 in 9 Days

The reason I think we’re going to see large text appear on thumbnails is due to the thumbnail below which was uploaded only 9 days ago but has already achieved 3M views on a channel that had barely any subscribers

Howdy,

Here is your weekly dose of The Creator Stream, a list of what I’m enjoying and exploring in the Creator Economy. Please feel free to forward this along to friends.

My Favourite Things This Week

🎥 Channel I’m Watching

This channel has three videos that have already reached 4M views and 129k subscribers: - I love watching ecosystem and aquarium videos on YouTube and it seems that many other people do too.

This channel has three videos that have already reached 4M views and 129k subscribers.

  1. Great thumbnails ✅

  2. High demand with low supply ✅

  3. Unique aquariums not seen in the niche ✅

If you have the patience to build and record an ecosystem over many months and tell a compelling story, you're almost guaranteed views, at least from me anyway!

🎥 Video I’m Watching

How to make great videos ANYWHERE with AI ENVIRONMENTS - Over the past few months we’ve seen AI get its claws into YouTube content more and more.

There have been a few videos that have gone semi-viral in the Creator space due to the backgrounds being AI-generated which look better than the real-life broom cupboard that a lot of us have to film in due to limited space!

This thumbnail caught my eye and it’s a short tutorial explaining how to use the generative fill feature in Adobe Photoshop to create custom environments for your videos. It’s very cool that stuff like this is possible and if you wish to have a better background in your videos, give it a watch and start experimenting.

Thumbnail Of The Week

This week’s thumbnail caught my eye when I was researching color theory. I think we’re going to see a trend of very large text in thumbnails over the coming year. This particular video was uploaded 5 years ago and currently has 6.3M views which is fantastic for this channel which was small at the time of upload.

The reason I think we’re going to see large text appear on thumbnails is due to the thumbnail below which was uploaded only 9 days ago but has already achieved 3M views on a channel that had barely any subscribers. Since this video has taken off he’s gone from 600 subscribers to 57,000 in nine short days.
